Founder and CEO of the Global Micro-Clinic Project (GMCP), Daniel Zoughbie is selected as a 2010 TED Fellow. Zoughbie and the GMCP are acknowledged for this honor for their work preventing and managing diseases in the developing world using low-cost behavioral interventions.

The GMCP is in the top-20 for America’s Giving Challenge

The Global Micro-Clinic Project (GMCP) has entered America's Giving Challenge with Facebook Causes highlighting the GMCP's work in Jordan, India, and Kenya.

The contest runs through Nov. 6, and the GMCP is currently #17 in total donations. The nonprofit that raises the most donations with Facebook Causes by Nov. 6, 2009 wins $50,000, and there are a number of runner-up and daily prizes totaling over $100,000.

Jordan’s Micro Clinic Project on Monday celebrated the completion of its pilot phase, concluding a year of activities grouping hundreds of diabetes patients and many success stories.

As part of continuous efforts to increase awareness on diabetes, Jordan’s Micro Clinic Project was implemented in collaboration with the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS), the Jordanian Ministry of Health and the Global Micro Clinic Project (GMCP).
